Gold Coin is the community grant arm of Data Fight Central. It turns the reach of a fight community — fighters, promoters, gyms, fans — into a meal, a pair of shoes, a door to a gym that would otherwise stay closed.
Every kid in the community gym deserves that floor, regardless of what suburb they came from or what the last few years looked like. Gold Coin is the mechanism that makes that possible.
It is funded by government grants and community partnerships. It is not charity — it is recognition that the gym is the door, and some kids need the coin to open it.
Access and opportunity.
The gym fee and the gloves. The things that seem small and are the entire barrier for a kid coming from survival.
A coach who shows up. A relationship built around a standard. Not a counsellor with a clipboard — a trainer with a pad.
